Poway's Drew Bourne sets NCJGA record on way to victory!
Drew Bourne playing in his first North County Jr. Golf event fired a 4 under par 32(ncjga record) on the back nine at the Marine Memorial (Camp Pendleton) golf course for a final score of 74, runner up was Fallbrook's Garet Johnson (76) and in third winning a medal also from Fallbrook was Zachary Kramer (77). Rounding out the top 5 was Fallbrook's Drew Earle (90) and Carlsbad's Justin Beck (91). A total of 13 competed and enjoyed the day in the boys Championship division four different high schools were represented.
Curtis Bee of Vista wins second in a row, he thanks Tiger!
Vista's Curtis Bee inspired by Tiger was solid from the first tee through the 18th hole. His score of 85 was good for a three shot victory over Davis Owen (88) of Vista and Encintas resident Jake LeMons (88) no playoff this time they both received runner up plaques! Finishing fourth Carlsbad's Nicholas Coplen (98) and in fifth Escondido's Anthony Mena and Oceanside's Erik Delarosa!
Lauren Barth is all smiles after win!
Lauren Barth (90) of Encinitas was all smiles after her three shot victory over Vista's Kelsey Peters (93) finishing in third was Poway's Caylie Allen (95). A total of six girls teed it up with 9 year old Karina Camp going 18, congratulations and thanks for playing!
The NCJGA is a 501 ( c ) (3) non profit corporation and holds events for boys and girls of all ages and skill levels. Started in 1965 the NCJGA is a year round program that benefits all North County families!
