Mark Reiner nips Scott Martin and Keegan Purdie - Boys Gold

Carlsbad's Mark Reiner (82) was just good enough to nip Escondido's Scott Martin and Vista's Keegan Purdie (83) by a shot, Mark and Scott stumbled down the stretch with Mark's final hole bogey good enough for the victory his second of the year. Learning how to win a tournament is a very important step - players must learn how to finish off a round with good play and steady nerves!!

Vista's Casey Rebmann (81) had his sights set on his first victory and he did just that! One shot was the difference over his friend and foe Vista's Curtis Bee (82) Casey's back nine 39 was the difference. The NCJGA is very proud of what Casey has been through this year and we expect great things from him in the future! Jack Avarello (84) finished third and received a medal.

Sidney Cozier fires a 79 and wins - Boys Bronze

Carlsbad's Sidney Cozier (79) was good for a three shot victory over Encinitas's Brandon Michaels (82) finishing third was local Valley Center resident Danny Miller (88) finishing fourth was Carlsbad's AJ Vaughan. The boys seemed to enjoy the walk and they hit some great shots - good going!

Paris Griffith gets NCJGA win - Girls

Rancho Bernardo's Paris Griffith (86) credited her putter for her fine 40 on the front nine and that was the difference - finishing second was Carlsbad's Ashley Stevens (94) and in third also from Carlsbad - Alana Uriell (95).

The NCJGA is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization - that provides opportunities for boys and girls to compete in fun and affordable junior golf events - year round.
