Final Results

The NCJGA held it's annual Executive Tour Championship July 26 and 27 at Emerald Isle and Rancho Carlsbad golf courses, 47 boys and girls of all skill levels and ages 5 - 16 competed and had fun.

Boys 14 - 17

El Cajon's Cole Reese is the 2008 NCJGA Executive Tour Champion his consistant play (61-60=121) was good for a three shot victory over Rancho Santa Fe's Eli Berg (64-60=124) finishing third Oceanside's Haden Bauer (60-65=125). Cole credited his victory to solid shotmaking and good putting!

Boys 11 - 13

Kiernan Emkjer of Rancho Santa Fe knew he controlled his destiny and felt confident his golf swing would hold up to capture the NCJGA Executive Tour championship with rounds of 62-64=126  he did! Aaron Strockis of Del Mar (67-68=135) was runner up and in  third was Rancho Santa Fe's  Nicholas Cefalu (61-77=138) fourth place went to Oceanside's Erik Delarosa (70-70=140) and fifth Carlsbad's Alec Madison (73-69=142). The boys had fun competing and made many new friends!

Boys 8 - 10

Getting better all season the hard work and dedication has paid off for Solana Beach's Noah Henderson his two day total of (73-67=140) was four shots better than his friend and foe Ian Scheble (74-70=144) also of Solana Beach. Noah's solid 33 on the front 9 opened up a 4 shot lead that was the difference. Tied for third with totals of 150 was Poway's Spencer Vierra (77-73) and Rancho Bernardo's Spencer Figuracion (78-72) in fifth was Escondido's Kyle Maspat (76-79=155).

Girls 18

Oceanside's Alyssa Waite wins both majors the first person in NCJGA history to win both the Championship Tour and Executive Tour Championships in the same season. Fresh off her victory last week she continued her fine play with rounds of (69-75=144) for a big victory! Runner up this year is Carlsbad's Ashley Stephens (84-87=171) third was newcomer Emma Riggins (89-95=184) of Vista and in fourth was 9 year old Elle Otten (102-87=189) of Palm Desert.

The NCJGA would like to Thank all the parents and families who support their child's golf and the North County Jr. Golf Association.

The North County Jr. Golf Association is a 501 (C) (3) non profit corporation and  holds competitive - fun golf events for boys and girls all skill levels  ages 5-17. Events are held year round.
