Cole Reese fires 70 to claim NCJGA Championship - Boys Gold 14-17

El Cajon's Cole Reese seems to be an up and coming player. His round of 70 on the hilly and long Meadowlake golf course was good for his first victory on the NCJGA Championship Tour - Runner Up was Fallbrooks Zachary Kramer (78) third was decided by a five hole playoff winning the medal was Rancho Bernardo's Cody Ek (79) finishing fourth was Fallbrooks Garet Johnson (79).

Carlsbad Andrew Silvestri goes low to win - Boys Silver 14-17

Andrew Silvestri of Carlsbad fired an 80 for a three shot victory over RBV's James Joliff (83) Andrew's back 9 - 38 was the difference - tied in third place was Cathedral's Cole Young,Carlsbad's  Michael Randall, and Torrey Pines Mikey McKinnon all scoring 90!

Playoff decides victory for Vista's Davis Owen - Boys Gold 11-13

Drama on the first playoff hole as three players tied for first - Vista's Davis Owen rolled in a 10 footer for par and Rancho Bernardo's Franklin Huang putt lipped out from 8 feet thus crowning Davis the Champion, also in the playoff was Curtis Bee of Vista - the three players all scored 77.

In the dark playoff gives Michael Vivier the trophy - Boys Silver 11-13

Vista's Michael Vivier and Poway's Mason Schulze both scored 90 to enter into the playoff - with car lights on the green Michael's par on the first playoff hole was good to earn his first NCJGA victory, Mason is 10 years old playing up a division and should be proud of his runner up finish - also getting a medal was Carlsbad's Christian Guerzon (92).

Stacey Rayo returns and wins again - Girls 14-17

Torrey Pines Stacey Rayo has been missing from the NCJGA events and  her constant practice has improved her swing and ability to score a solid round of 83  for a victory by 2 shots over Bishop's Libby Hooton (85) in third receiving a medal was San Marcos High School, Kelsey Peters (91).

Crystal Wang is Champion - Girls 11-13

Crystal Wang of LaJolla fired a fine round of 87 to win the girls 11-13 division runner up was Temecula's Haley Knapp (99) and in third was Oceanside's Natalie Vivaldi (103) good going girls!

The NCJGA is a non profit 501 (c) (3) California corporation  that holds events for boys and girls ages 5 -17 year round! All skill levels are welcome!
