Christopher Knapp wins by one shot - Boys 14-17

Temecula's Chris Knapp (71) captured the NCJGA - Back to School Championship by one shot over Carlsbad's Cole Young (72) and San Marcos's John Gormally (72) a two hole playoff decided the runner - up won by Cole , Carlsbad's Brandon Facon and Andrew Silvestri (75) finished fourth. Interviewed upon the completion of the round Chris Knapp said " I started with a 7 on the first hole - a par 3 and decided I could not give up, I can never give up - that is what I learned today" he also credited his golfing family for helping him along the way!  Good show!

Franklin Huang wins again - Boys 11-13 (Gold)

Franklin Huang (65) of Rancho Bernardo enjoys the Fountains golf course his straight away long game and great touch around the greens lead him to a three shot victory over Casey Rebmann (68) of San Marcos  and Dylan Martinez (68) of Escondido - a playoff determined the runner - up won by Casey, earning a medal for fourth was Justin Michal (69) of San Diego - fifth was local favorite Anthony Mena (72) who lives in Escondido.

Cullen Plousha grinds to victory - Boys 11-13 (Silver)

Carlsbad's Cullen Plousha (68) fired a back nine 31 for a one shot victory over Poway's Mason Schulze (69) in third was Jeevan Larson (74) of San Clemente tied for fourth Oceanside's Erik Delrosa (78) and Solano Beach's Noah Henderson (78). Cullen gave a great victory speech crediting his family for supporting his golf!
 

Amanda Kahn cruises to Championship - Girls 14-17

Amanda Kahn (66) of Carlsbad was a winner by a huge margin nine 3's on her card lead her to the victory, runner up (in a card off) went to Carlsbad's Ashley Stephens (93) over Encintas's Meili Eubank (93) in fourth was Oceansides's Pauline Manalad.
 

Tori Hancock breaks thru to victory - Girls 11-13

San Diego's Tori Hancock (75) was good for a eight shot victory - her calm demeanor and great attitude contributed to the victory, coach Kevin (her dad) was quite proud of his daughter, runnerup went to Oceanside's Natalie Vivaldi (83) third Haley Knapp (84) of Temecula - fourth went to Carlsbad's Alana Uriell (85) and fifth going to Vista's Melody Muehlbauer (88).
