Plousha nips Scheble by one shot - Boys 8-10 (gold)
They battled all day and it comes down to the last hole and Carlsbad's Carter Plousha (66) just nipped defending champion Ian Scheble (67) of Solona Beach in third Escondido's Diego Estrada (70).
Olah wins NCJGA event at Oaks - Boys 8-10 (silver)
Oceanside's Tommy Olah (80) with help from his grandpa captured first place - runner up Christopher Haison (91) of Escondido and in third Oceanside's April Hettinger (96) fourth San Marcos's Alex Brown (99) fifth went to Daniel Salas.
O'Brien and Sanford playoff for Championship 7&U
Irvine's Connor O'Brien and Escondido's Karah Sanford tied for first shooting 32's and on the third hole of the playoff the Championship went to Connor - Karah received the runnerup trophy, third went to Riley Klingelberg (34) of Murrieta also winning a medals was San Diego's Krando Nishiba (36) and fifth Tevan Chaiyakum (39) and Jared Tran (39).
The North County Jr. Golf Association is a 501 (c) (3) non profit California corporation. The NCJGA holds events year round for boys and girls of all ages and skill levels.
