Facon's partner up and win Championship - Gold Division (13-17)

Carlsbad's Brandon Facon teamed up with his dad Mike Facon and fired a 1 under par 53 to win the Executive Parent  Child Championship held at Reidy Creek GC in Escondido. The key to victory Mike said was a chip in for birdie and the team was consistantly hitting the greens which left them with birdies putts on many of the holes. Runner Up from Carmel Valley was Mike / Mikey McKinnon (58) in third Garet Johnson and his grandfather Bob Powroznik of Fallbrook (60).

Oceanside's Charlie and Alex Marr win Parent / Child - Silver Division

Charlie / Alex Marr of Oceanside fired a 1 under par 26 on the back 9 on Sunday, their score of (58) was good enough for a two stroke victory over San Marcos's Craig / Joshua Pollard (60), finishing third was Jay / Jared Van Vark (61).

Mike and Kelsey Peters play good enough to win - Girls Division

San Marcos's Mike / Kelsey Peters had some unfinished business to take care of and that was win the Parent / Child which they did on Sunday at Reidy Creek. Battaling it out with Carmel Valley's Mike / Stacey Rayo (friends and competitors) Mike / Kelsey's score of (56) was just one better than the Rayo's (57) in third one shot back Michael / Karina Camp (58).

Keene team up for Victory - Boys Bronze

Starting out with even par on the front nine the team of Bryan / Spencer Keene (59) captured the title, runner up went to Kevin / Ian Scheble (64) of Solana Beach - tied for third was Poway's Mark / Spencer Vierra and Escondido's Johnathon Mulvaney / Bill Rindone both teams scoring (67).

Mark and Christian Vierra are close winners - 8 and Under

Poway's Mark / Christian Vierra (65) was just one better than Irvine's Joe / Connor O'Brien (66) - James / Ryan Howey of Oceanside (66) in the 8 and under division! Ryan Howey had a hole in one on #6!
