Irvine's Connor OBrien cruises to victory! In the Boys 7 & Under.
In his first NCJGA event Connor OBrien's (32) was good for a six shot victory over Oceanside's Jonathon Crowe (38) in third was Carlsbad's Shane Stephens (40) also winning a medal was San Diego's Krando Nishiba (41). A total of 13 boys participated!
Kaden Page of Murrietta fires a 66!
Murrietta's Kaden Page road a front nine 31 to a five shot victory, nice playing! A playoff for second between Solano Beach's Noah Henderson (71) and Oceanside's Eric Delerosa (71) the competitors went to the first hole and Noah's par was good enough to get the runnerup trophy! Placing fourth was Rancho Bernardo's Spencer Figuracion (76) and Solona Beach's Ian Scheble (76) both received medals.
Girls, Girls, Girls, - Tracey Huynh wins again!!
The girls of the NCJGA seemed like they enjoyed the day, a total of 10 girls of all ages played together. Tracey Huynh of Mt. Carmel high school fired a 31-33=64 the low score of the day, congratulations! Ramona's Alana Uriell (71) was the runner up, in third was Encinta's Karina Camp (75) she is 9 years old and she can play, San Diego's Tori Hancock (75) and Temecula's Haley Knapp (76) also medaled! Thanks for playing girls - keep swinging!
Vista's Curtis Bee captures boys 11-12 title!
Vista's Curtis Bee went around the Lake San Marcos golf course in 68 strokes for a one shot victory over Escondido's Anthony Mena (69) rounding out the top five where Oceanside's Jacob Turall (76), Justin Michal (78), and tied for fifth was Encinitas's Johnathon Cassidy (79) and Vista's Christian Guerzon (79)!
Eli Berg garners win in boys 13-17!
Rancho Santa Fe's Eli Berg fired a 65 for a close one shot victory over Carlsbad's Cole Young (66) finishing third was Justin Beck (67) also of Carlsbad! Just goes to show you one stroke in golf can make all the difference!
